FAQ

Q: Can I use your services if I have already applied for my passport but I still haven't received it back from the State Department?

A: No, you cannot use our services if you have already applied for a passport. Please contact the State Department at 1-877-487-2778.

Q: Is your service guaranteed?

A: PasStream can guarantee that we will submit your application. While PasStream strives to process all documentation as quickly as possible, there will always be unfortunate circumstances that are out of our control (mail delays, weekends, federal holidays, problems with a customers' application, etc.) Please note that for expedited and standard service, PasStream has no control over the speed at which your application is processed once submitted.

Q: If I am traveling in the next nine days or less, can I still use the emergency week-or-less service?

A: Yes, although there is a slight risk the passport will not be returned to you in time due to ongoing mail and State Department delays. Also, there may be other applicants ahead of you who need their applications submitted quickly and we can't allow anyone to bump the line unless the scheduling works out.

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: PasStream strives to make every effort to ensure you travel as soon as possible. Refunds are handled on a cases-by-case basis. For emergency service, PasStream will not issue a refund under any circumstance where a passport was mailed back to a customer within seven (7) business days (excluding Federal holidays) of the ship date to PasStream. to claim a refund, please email passtream1@gmail with your information and claim.

Q: What is the Letter of Authorization?

A: The Letter of Authorization is a document that the State Department requires each passport courier to receive and combine with your application in order for us to submit your passport without you physically being present.

Q: What is a Passport Card?

A: The passport card is a wallet-size travel document that can be used to travel from the United States to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda by land and sea but not air. It is most convenient for those who live close to the border and travel frequently by land or sea. It cannot be used for travel to any other destinations or for any air travel outside of the US.
